Do Randy and Mike show up together at each show?
Although Randy and Mike are a team, they do not perform together unless you purchase the "Holy Smokes Batman" package. Randy and Mike each own and operate their own individual shows.
Do you have other DJ's that work for you?
We don't actually have "Employees", but because we have raised the standards of the mobile DJ industry to their highest levels, there are many DJ companies that want to work "WITH" us and would like for us to recommend them.
We are happy to provide them with leads as long as they comply with our strict standards of excellence.
How do we provide you with the information we want you to have in regards to our function?
Once you have hired Randy or Mike, we will create an account for you in our interactive software section of our website usuing your email address. You will receive an email confirming this, as well as a link to the information section of our website. You will then be able to log on and input information 24 hours a day from anywhere on the planet, (even from India as one of our customers did recently.
Do you us CD's or is your music on your computer?
Both!
We have our entire music library on
computer. It is a music library that has
been constructed from 30 years of trial and
error, as well as taking requests. Our library is updated every week and
downloaded into all our laptops. In addition
to our computer library, each system has a
dual CD player. Every show includes a back
up CD library consisting of the most popular
songs that have ever been requested.
What
genres of music do you usually play?
Big Band, Polkas, Schottisches, Waltzes, Jitterbug, Salsa, Cha Cha, Rumba, Tango, Ball Room, Swing, 50's through Current, Modern, Techno, Rock and Roll, Disco, Top 40, R&B, Country, Rap, Urban, Hip Hop, Easy Listening, Dinner Music, Line Dancing.
Basically it isimpossible to name all Genres of music because each individual person can create their own category in their head. But rest assured, after we print out your request list, we WILL have every song you have requested in ourcomputer when we show up for your "Big Day".
What
kind of music do you usually play?
Every show is different. Requests are one of the
best ways to find out what it is going to
take to keep everybody up and dancing. We
also accept lists of songs from the Bride
and Groom or any other person or persons
that might be attending the function.
Additionally, all of our DJ's have the
experience to read a crowd and determine
what genre of music is needed to obtain the
results expected by our customers. Our job
description has always been to keep the
highest percentage of the people in that
room, that night, on the dance floor for as
long as we can!

What kind of lights do you use?
We use only professional lighting. Lights from manufacturers such as Martin, Elation, Chavet, and American DJ.
How much room is required for your set up and is there anything the reception hall will need to provide the DJ to accommodate the set up?
A space approximately twelve feet wide and ten feet deep is usually sufficient. We also require one either six foot long or eight foot long rectangular banquet table.
What time will the DJ set up the equipment?
We generally arrive at the venue 1-3 hours before the bride and grooms proposed wedding cerimony start time. This works well for functions located in the metropolitan Evansville, Indiana area. Functions outside the immediate Evansville area require that the DJ be able to access the facility at least two hours before the required start time of the reception.
What is involved in hiring your company?
If you would decide to book a show, we will take all the information needed to be able to construct a contract. We will then mail two copies of the contract to you, one for you to keep and one for you to sign and mail back with your deposit.
What amount is required for the deposit?
We currently require a $200.00 deposit to secure our services. We accept the following payment tenders: Money Order, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and Personal Checks. You can process a credit card by accessing our credit card portal inside our secure interactive menu.
Do we need to give the DJ a list of songs to be played?
We suggest a short list of your absolute "must haves" and "can't stands" be constructed to assure that we have the songs that are really important to you downloaded into the computer before we arrive at your function.

How far will you travel?
We can perform anywhere on the face of the earth. If we can't drive to the function. we will fly to the function and make arrangements to rent the equipment needed to complete the function.
Do you interact with the crowd?
Crowd interaction is our specialty. Obviously, we can’t physically grab your guests and drag them to the dance floor. But we can play the right music and say the right things.
